ÎÛÎÛÂþ»­ Schools Celebrate Blue Jays Spirit Day!

The excitement was unmistakable across the ÎÛÎÛÂþ»­ as students and staff turned their schools into a sea of blue in celebration of the Toronto Blue Jays’ historic return to the World Series — their first in 32 years.

From hallways decked out in Jays banners to classrooms buzzing with baseball trivia and art projects, schools across the city proudly celebrated Blue Jays Spirit Day on Friday, October 24 ahead of Game 1.

At Ossington/Old Orchard Public School, the energy hit another level when the Arkells made a surprise appearance, joining students and families for the celebration:
