Adult ESL Program

There will not be any Adult ESL classes during the summer.

Gaining proficiency in English is a critical skill for many newcomers and residents in Toronto. More than 20,000 adults benefit from our ESL courses every year in over 40 locations across the city.

2025-26 Program Information

Fall Classes: Weekday classes start Sept 8, 2025. Saturday classes start Sept 13, 2025.
Registration by email or phone starts September 2, 2025.

Email us at adultESL@tdsb.on.ca or call 416 338-4300 or contact one of the Administration Centres listed below for registration. For more information see our registration information page.

If you are a new learner, please contact the YMCA for an appointment, , by phone at 416-925-5462, or email them at . You can also contact our Continuing Education Office (416 338-4300) if you need assistance making an appointment
