Community Advisory Committees (CACs) are an advisory committee of the Board that provides the Board with ongoing community advice on specific areas of Board policy or program, as well as on educational issues of community interest. CACs include committees established in accordance with legislation, i.e., the Parent Involvement Advisory Committee (PIAC) (under Ontario Regulation 330/10) and the Special Education Advisory Committee (SEAC) (under Ontario Regulation 464/97).
