The Extended Day Program is legislated to be a fee-for-service program paid for directly by parents on a cost recovery basis.
Please note that the Extended Day Program is a school board directly operated program and not a licensed child care program. The Extended Day Program does not participate in the , which is only available to licensed child care programs. Families who require fee assistance should visit the or call 311 to learn more about fee subsidy.
Program Fees That Are Effective September 1st, 2025:
The Extended Day Program fees for the 2025-26 school years are based on $42.50 per day for instructional days and $65.00 per day for non-instructional days. Payments will be collected via Pre-Authorized Debit (PAD) on a semi-monthly basis, scheduled for the 1st and 15th of each month. If a scheduled payment date falls on a weekend or holiday, the payment will be processed the next business day. Please note that a $45 fee will be applied to any payments returned due to Non-Sufficient Funds (NSF), in accordance with Board policy.

Method of Payment
Fees for the Extended Day Program will be collected through direct debit. Your monthly fee is due on the 1st and the 15th of each month.
