The ÎÛÎÛÂþ» accommodates High Performing Athletes (HPA), providing academic programming and flexible scheduling for students-athletes who are competing at the provincial, national or international level training and competition. While many of these accommodations can be provided by the local school, there are six sites (3 elementary and 3 secondary) that are designated as HPA hubs.
In order to meet the demands of intense training schedules, schools provide more flexible timetables in order to balance school with out of school commitments, so that athletes can strive for both academic and athletic excellence.Ìý
