Youth in our Culinary stream receive hands on practical training including:

1. Certifications in: Food Handlers, Workers’ Health & Safety Awareness, and WHMISÌý
2. Tools & equipment fundamentals, terminologies & techniques, knife skills developmentÌý
3. Mise en place, basic butchery, preparation of stock, sauces, vinaigrettes, and fresh pastaÌý
4. Braising, breading, and prepared a variety of sides, meat, and vegetable dishesÌý
5. Inventory management (FIFO), food safety and storageÌý
6. Cleaning, sanitation and maintenance of kitchen equipment and food production spacesÌýÌý
